We’re proud to announce that CL-215T2 MSN 1088 has successfully completed its T-Kit conversion and taken to the skies for the first time in its new configuration!
This flight marks a major step forward for the CL-215T2 Firefighter Avionics Program. MSN 1088 will serve as the primary testbed for key systems and design improvements, helping us validate performance, safety, and reliability ahead of broader implementation.
In addition to its first flight, MSN 1088 has also conducted a successful water drop test, showcasing the progress toward the next generation of aerial firefighting capability.
Key Upgrades on MSN 1088:
• New PW123 EAF engines
• Finlet on the elevator
• Winglets on the wings
• Inverted slat on the right-hand elevator
• Flight controls now partially hydraulically operated
