Dear Team,
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Brenda Allen, who served as our Chief Disruption Officer and former Chief People Officer.
Brenda was a bold leader who made a lasting impact on our organization and all the people she connected with. She was fearless, outspoken, funny and fiercely dedicated to her work and all the employees that worked with her. A true disrupter in every sense, she demanded the best of herself and the best for all the people that worked with her.
She led DHC through a period of significant change and growth and was the driving force behind many of our key initiatives. Her contributions were instrumental in shaping our progress and in building a strong team and employee platforms, getting DHC ready for the next step in its evolution. She walked the floors of the manufacturing and production facilities as easily as she did the boardrooms she sat in. She was a champion of our values and our brand inside and outside our company.
She will be remembered for her dedication, her humour and her no nonsense style.
Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Brenda will truly be missed.
