On September 16, our De Havilland Canada team from Victoria travelled to Vancouver to take part in the Hope Air Haul for Hope Challenge, pulling a 65,200 lb Dash 8-400 aircraft for 100 metres in just 25.41 seconds.
It was tough, it was fun, and most importantly, it was all for an incredible cause. By supporting Hope Air, we’re helping ensure Canadians everywhere can access vital healthcare, no matter where they live. Since 1986, Hope Air has provided more than 200,000 travel arrangements for patients and families in need.
This year, Victoria’s DHC team pulled for Joey. Living with juvenile onset Parkinson’s, Joey has relied on Hope Air to travel from Saskatoon to Toronto, where he could access the best possible care and solutions for his condition. With both travel and accommodation supported, Hope Air has made a life-changing difference in Joey’s journey to find the treatment he needs.
A huge thank you to our Victoria volunteers who gave it their all!
