Upcoming ERP Systems Upgrade – What Employees Need to Know

Dear Team,

We are preparing for an important milestone in De Havilland Canada’s systems transformation. On November 1, 2025, we will be transitioning to our new and enhanced IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This upgrade will deliver improved efficiencies across our operations and connect our amalgamated companies into one unified system.

We are Prepared and Ready

Over the past months, employees across the organization have completed training sessions to prepare for this change. The system has been thoroughly vetted and is ready to meet our operational needs. This ensures that we are not only ready for the cutover, but that we are also positioned to benefit from stronger integration and streamlined processes across all of De Havilland Canada.

We recognize that change takes time. There will be some work as we get used to new processes, and it is likely we will encounter a few challenges during the initial rollout. That said, our transition is on track, our teams are ready, and this important step is already well underway.

Customers and Suppliers are receiving the attached information starting today.

Transition Schedule

  • For DHC staff: The system cutover will impact teams that use Visual 7, Visual 9 and IFS Apps 10, and those groups are involved in the IFS transformation project.
  • What’s not impacted: There will be no changes to regular business applications (windows, email, SharePoint, Dayforce, internet etc.)
  • The Customer Portal: The customer portal will be offline for a short period, likely beginning October 31 at 12:01 AM and is scheduled to conclude November 1 at 8:00 AM (approx. 10 hours, but details will be confirmed closer to the date).
  • Temporary Outages: Intermittent disruptions to the customer and supplier portal may continue through November 7 as final adjustments are made.
