De Havilland and Friends take over Ottawa

That’s a wrap on a busy week in Ottawa for our DHC team! From October 2-6, we celebrated the future of Canadian aerospace by showcasing our aircraft and their capabilities at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum.

The week kicked off with two public days on Saturday and Sunday, where visitors could get up close to our aircraft on static display and even register to take a flight on a Twin Otter to see the fall colours of Ottawa from the sky.

On Monday, the focus shifted to VIP tours, giving invited guests an opportunity to see our special mission, Canadian-built aircraft up close and learn more about the work we are doing at DHC.

Tuesday wrapped up the program with the Special Missions Operators Symposium, bringing operators together for technical defence discussions and DHC aircraft tours. That evening, we hosted the De Havilland and Friends reception, where we heard from Brian Chafe, who highlighted the importance of the defence work we are doing and what the 515 program means for Canada, as well as the coast-to-coast industry and supply chain that supports it.

A big thank you to everyone who helped bring the week together and represent DHC in Ottawa.
