The 2025 Federal Election will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025. If you have not yet voted during the advance voting period, you must cast your ballot in person at your assigned polling location.

Employee voting rights:
Under the Canada Elections Act:
- Employees must have three consecutive hours free from work to vote, either during advance voting or on Election Day.
- If your scheduled work hours do not allow for this, your employer must provide additional paid time off to ensure you have a three-hour voting window.
- The employer may determine when the time off is taken (during advance voting days or on Election Day).
- This time off must be paid, and no penalties may be imposed for taking it.
- The extra time off is to be used exclusively for voting.
