A Career That Shaped an Industry: Bill Arsenault Retires from MC2

Recently, we marked the retirement of someone who helped shape the face of Canadian aviation.

Bill Arsenault, who established Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2), officially stepped away — closing the chapter on a remarkable career defined by vision, grit, and unwavering standards.

With early support from Kitchener Aero’s founder Barry Aylward, and alongside long-time partners Mike Wiedemann and Kevin Birch, Bill turned MC2 into one of the most respected names in avionics modifications. Together, they built more than a company — they built a reputation for doing things right, no matter how complex the challenge.

Bill’s influence runs deep. He led by example, pushed hard for excellence, and never compromised on quality. Those values are baked into MC2’s culture, and they’ll continue to guide us as we move forward.

Congratulations on your retirement, Bill — and thank you for everything. You’ve left an extraordinary legacy.
