A Love Story Powered by the Beaver
We recently received a heartwarming wedding card that we just had to share with our De Havilland Canada family.
The message read:
“We wanted to say thank you for connecting us. Sam is a mechanic for Ward Air in Juneau, Alaska, and met Alice, a lodge manager, at that job. They connected over their love for Beavers flying around Southeast Alaska. Without a Beaver flying us to each other, we wouldn’t have been able to stay together. Thank you.”
It’s stories like these that remind us our aircraft are more than machines, they connect people, create memories, and in this case, helped spark a lifelong partnership.
Congratulations to Sam and Alice on their marriage, and thank you for reminding us of the joy and impact the Beaver continues to bring to communities around the world.
