We’re excited to celebrate the successful start of operations at CGY2! CGY2 was originally opened in 2016 as the headquarters for our aftermarket division, briefly housing engineering, aftermarket customer service, procurement, and the warehouse. In 2024, the aftermarket team and warehouse were relocated to make room for the Calgary Academy and future expansion space for the DHC-515 production. Today, we are already showcasing the facility’s potential by manufacturing small DHC-515 sub-assemblies, with several lessons learned from the initial build now incorporated into the process. This success would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of all the teams that supported this transformation. Every contribution, big or small, has played a vital role in reaching this milestone, and this achievement reflects the collective commitment to the journey. While this is a significant milestone, our journey is far from over. In the coming months, we will continue to enhance the site by installing jigs and fixtures to further support the manufacturing of the DHC-515. This is just the beginning, and we are excited to see the progress unfold. Thank you to everyone involved for making this possible! |
