As Remembrance Day approaches, we take time to honour the people who came before us, the De Havilland Canada employees who served our country and those who gave their lives in its defence.
When our operations moved from Downsview to Mississauga in 2022, our team made sure the De Havilland War Memorial was carefully preserved and brought with us. Today, it stands proudly in the main lobby of our Mississauga facility, a daily reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of generations of De Havilland
Canada employees.
For this year’s Remembrance Day, a wreath bearing the De Havilland Canada banner has been placed beside the memorial as a gesture of gratitude to those who served and continue to serve.
Let us take a quiet moment to reflect on their sacrifices and remember the lasting impact of their commitment to freedom and peace.
