How can we say thank you 1000 times?

We have officially completed our 1000th Twin Otter, and it will be heading to Colombia alongside aircraft MSN999. Not a bad way to hit four digits!

We hope everyone enjoyed the celebration and treats at all our locations, and that you are proudly displaying your exclusive 1000th Twin Otter decal.

For over 60 years, this aircraft has been doing exactly what it was built to do: getting into the places others can’t and connecting communities around the world. From the Canadian North to the jungles, coastlines, and mountains in Colombia, the Twin Otter keeps showing up and getting the job done.

But this milestone isn’t just about a number, it’s about the people behind it. Every team, every role, every detail that goes into building and supporting these aircraft is part of this achievement.

So, a big thank you to all of you. This one’s yours!

To keep the pride going, we are asking employees to take photos (like the ones below) of their decals in front of the place that they work (to keep the fleet flying) every day. We will be compiling all these photos for a special project. We want to see the people behind the work too, so be sure to snap a picture of yourself holding the decal where we can see your face as well! Please send your photos to communications@dehavilland.com

Thank you again! Here’s to the next 1000!
