I AM CANADIAN

Here at DHC, we are always looking forward to the next milestone, the next achievement. But it’s important to look back too.

It’s Canada History Week, a time to celebrate the stories that have shaped our nation—including the iconic contributions of De Havilland Aircraft of Canada. If you haven’t read about it on our website, you’re missing out.

Since its founding in 1928, De Havilland has played a vital role in Canada’s history in connecting communities, advancing aviation, and exploring new frontiers.

  • The legendary DHC-2 Beaver is known as the “bush plane that built the North.”
  • The versatile Dash 8 Series has been a lifeline to remote regions, enabling transportation, medical support, and economic development across Canada’s vast landscapes.

De Havilland’s innovations have not only shaped our skies but also inspired generations of Canadian ingenuity. This Canada History Week, let’s honor the legacy of those who took flight and propelled our nation forward!
