We are pleased to announce that Rhonda Leason will be joining our organization as Senior Director, Human Resources, effective January 6, 2025. Rhonda will report to Leanne McLean, Chief People Officer (CPO).
Rhonda brings over 15 years of diverse and progressive HR leadership experience across various industries, including transportation, logistics, energy, and public administration. Most recently, she served as Vice President, People & Culture at Trimac Transportation, where she led HR strategies that strengthened stakeholder engagement and fostered a high-performing organizational culture.
Prior to her role at Trimac, Rhonda spent nearly seven years at Canada Cartage, where she held senior HR leadership positions, including Vice President, Human Resources, National Senior Director, and Senior Director, Western Canada. Her career also includes roles at Black Diamond Group, Clean Harbors, and the City of Calgary, where she built expertise in stakeholder management, leadership development, talent strategy, and navigating complex HR environments in both union and non-union settings.
Rhonda is passionate about aligning HR practices with business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and driving a culture of innovation, accountability, and learning. Her broad experience in leadership development, talent management, and ethical business practices will be invaluable in her new role.
