Safety was front and center last week as CGY2 and CGY3 came together for Safety Awareness Week.
All week, each shift kicked off with Toolbox Talks designed to get teams talking about hazards, safe work practices and opportunities for improvement. Employees were also challenged to put their safety knowledge into action through daily activities, including Match the PPE, Spot the Hazard and Safe or Unsafe!
Throughout the week, employees submitted proactive hazard identification reports, connected with safety vendors, and took part in bingo and trivia challenges, all while earning entries into daily and final prize draws.
Most importantly, the conversations are already turning into action, with new hazards and opportunities for improvement identified by employees and teams.
