T’was the night before Holidays, when all through the plant,
Not a creature was stirring, not even an ant.
The hangars were quiet, the tools put away,
As the workers prepared for some rest and some play.
The engineers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While Twin Otter drawings danced in their heads.
And Keith in his ‘kercheif, and Darbell in his cap,
Had just turned off the network for a long winter’s nap.
The jigs were stored neatly on the assembly line,
In hopes that Quality would say everything’s fine.
The programs were tracking on budget, on time,
This time we may even just save a dime!
When outside the hangar there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my desk to see what was the matter.
I ran to the doors of Calgary Seven,
I went outside and then looked up towards heaven.
The moon on the wings of the planes shining bright
Cast a shadow in red of a marvelous sight.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a turboprop sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.

With a Newfoundland accent, so lively and spry,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Chafe!
More rapid than Dash-8’s, his reindeer they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name.
“Now, Robert, now, Ryan, now, Sandra, and Todd,

On, Gerry, on Leanne, on, JP, and Jake!
