De Havilland Canada announces the expansion of its presence in Greece

We’re excited to share that De Havilland Canada is expanding its global support footprint with the creation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Greece: De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Hellas Ltd.

This new location marks a significant step in our ongoing efforts to enhance support for waterbomber operations across Southern Europe. By establishing a dedicated presence in Greece, we will be positioned to provide more immediate and localized service to our customers in the region.

This initiative reflects our strategic focus on strengthening customer relationships and enabling greater fleet reliability around the world. We are proud to bring De Havilland Canada’s trusted support closer to our European operators.

Marking a key step forward in their collaboration, Jean-Philippe Côté, Vice-President, Programs and Business Improvement, is visiting Athens this week for high-level talks with Greek government officials. Joined by Canada’s Ambassador to Greece, Anna-Karine Asselin, he is meeting with Deputy Minister for Civil Protection Evangelos Tournas and Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis. The visit aims to deepen the growing partnership and identify new opportunities for future cooperation.

Please join us in congratulating the team involved in making this expansion a reality.
