Island Aviation has officially signed a firm purchase agreement for two new Twin Otter aircraft, building on the Letter of Intent signed at the Farnborough International Airshow in July.
It’s exciting to see this partnership take the next step and bring two new Twin Otters to Island Aviation in the Maldives, the world’s largest Twin Otter operating market, where the aircraft is right at home connecting islands and communities.
These two aircraft will also mark another exciting first, with Island Aviation becoming the first operator to bring the Two Otter Classic 300-G to the Maldives!
This is another great milestone for the Twin Otter and a reflection of the continued demand for this iconic aircraft around the world. A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone across DHC who helped make this happen!
