I’m pleased to share an update on our Human Resources operating model/structure, and a new leadership appointment.
We have created a new HR division called Total Rewards and HR Governance. This team will be responsible for:
• Compensation philosophy, structure and process
• Benefit program design/optimization
• HR systems, analytics and reporting
• HR policy development
• Support on major HR projects
Leading this new area will be Brianne Sly, joining DHC as the Director, Total Rewards and HR Governance effective January 12, reporting directly to me.
Brianne is an experienced HR leader with over 20 years of experience, with deep expertise in HR Business Partnering, Organizational Effectiveness, Labour Relations, and Total Rewards. Most recently, Brianne was Director, People Strategic Initiatives and Governance at WestJet, where she spent seven years. Prior to that, she held several senior HR roles at Canadian Pacific (now CPKC).
This change supports my team’s continued progress towards building an agile responsive HR model to support DHC leaders and employees.
Brianne will be working from the CGY7 offices, so please take some time to pop by to welcome her to the De Havilland Canada team.
