Improving efficiency and operational performance across DHC is critical as we deliver on our commitments to our customers and prepare for future growth. We’re already taking real, practical steps to ensure we are moving as one connected company, but there is more to do as we continue building a truly efficient company.
To sharpen that focus, Jason Connolly has accepted the role of Vice President, Operational Transformation. Jason’s mandate is clear, he will drive operational efficiency, streamline how we work, and unlock performance across the organization. He will identify and execute opportunities that make DHC more agile, cost-effective, and operationally strong, ensuring we consistently deliver results.
Jason has a background in accounting and earned his CPA designation in 2010. He has held a variety of senior leadership roles across finance and operations and has led several corporate business development initiatives. This experience provides a strong foundation for the work ahead as DHC continues enhancing efficiency across the company.
To ensure we consistently meet our customer delivery commitments and achieve full alignment across our programs, Al Young will step in as interim lead of the MRO organization. Al will focus on reinforcing execution, strengthening coordination, and driving the actions needed to deliver aircraft to our customers on time and to plan.
He previously led the Dash 8 Fleet program at De Havilland Canada, with a strong focus on reducing operating costs, improving fleet reliability, and keeping the fleet flying. His background in heavy maintenance, airline operations, and operating aircraft in some of the world’s most challenging environments will be a significant asset to the MRO team during this transition.
An additional change within the MRO team is the appointment of Silvia Bianchi as Director of Programs – MRO and Asset Management. In this capacity, she will provide strategic leadership across project teams and key stakeholders, aligning program execution with business objectives and ensuring the successful delivery of customer commitments.
The search for permanent MRO lead is currently underway.
These changes position us well for what’s ahead and ensure we continue delivering on our commitments to our customers.
As always, the leadership team is available if you have any questions.
