This past week, our team was on the ground in Santiago, Chile for the FIDAE, Latin America’s largest airshow and the region’s premier Defence and Security Trade Show.
A highlight of our presence was the Chilean Air Force’s Twin Otter on static display, showcasing its Antarctic configuration on wheel skis. We also had the privilege of meeting with Her Excellency Karolina Guay, Canadian Ambassador to Chile, and together we toured the Chilean Air Force Twin Otter.
During the show, we were honoured to host a celebration marking the Chilean Air Force’s 60th anniversary (more to come on that!) of operating the Twin Otter (MSN 007), a testament to the aircraft’s enduring reliability and versatility. During this celebration, we presented Air General Hugo Eduardo Rodríguez González, Chief Commander of the Chilean Air Force with an authentic DHC belt buckle.
FIDAE provided a valuable opportunity to connect with regional partners, showcase our capabilities, and celebrate long-standing customer relationships in Latin America.
