A few weeks ago, we announced the sale of 22 firefighting aircraft to the EU and the new name for the DHC-515: De Havilland Canadair 515. As it happens, we’re not the only ones excited about the program. Victoria’s Times Colonist ran with the story yesterday. If you’d like to see how your work here at DHC is landing with the community, you can read about it here: Hiring spree for De Havilland’s North Saanich plant as it gears up to make firefighting planes for Europe. It’s a great reminder that what we do at DHC makes a difference. Not only does our maintenance and production of aircraft protect people and the environment, but we are also a vital part of our nation’s economy. Be proud DHC! |
